We are Back at the William's Arms
After nearly 18 months with only zoom meetings, we have now returned to our normal club venue. Our first lunchtime guest speaker, Ali Hunt, gave us an enlightening talk on how the North Devon Hospice had been able to continue operating throughout lock downs and the restrictions we have all had to deal with during this pandemic. The Hospice is one of the may charities that we support on a regular basis.
The Club usually meets weekly at the William's Arms in Wrafton at 12.30pm on Wednesdays with lunch at 1.00pm. We organise events throughout the year to raise funds for local charities and other causes.
Apart from our fundraising projects we also support the local community, the flower displays around the village are maintained by our members with the help of local businesses and helpers.
While the aims of Rotary have remained unchanged as a club we continue to develop to meet the ever changing needs of society.
